The Qingnan Ammunition Depot in Lushunkou District is located in Dalian City, Liaoning Province.

In 1880, under the strong advocacy of Li Hongzhang, the Minister of Beiyang, the "Qing Empire" began to build a military port in Lushun.

In order to enhance the defense capability, a number of artillery batteries were built on the land coast, equipped with nearly a hundred artillery pieces - there were 8 guns installed in the Mozhu Reef Artillery Battery alone; in addition, a number of ammunition depots were built for wartime needs, and the South Ammunition Depot was the main one.

The bullet depot is located on a protruding cape between the current Lushun Huangjinshan Bathing Beach and Mozhu Reef. From the outside, it does not look large: it is about 50 meters long from east to west and more than 20 meters wide from north to south (two small depots are built on the east and west sides of the main depot). It is hard to imagine that under the hidden appearance is actually a large ammunition depot with a volume of nearly 10,000 square meters.
