Yaoli's summer is mint green, a beloved ancient town for escaping the summer heat

⭐When the weather is hot and unbearable, I really want to find an ancient town nestled by mountains and rivers to stay for a day or two, enjoying the coolness and the slow-paced good times. Yaoli Ancient Town, near Jingdezhen, is perfect for this. Its mint-green mountains and waters become a refreshing special drink in summer.
⭐There are many B&Bs around Yaoli Ancient Town. If you're staying relatively far, you can park your car at Yaoli Wolongtan Hotel. It's recommended to walk and explore from upstream to downstream. Here are a few photo spots I personally find most unique:

📷Yaoli River Fish Scale Dam
📌In front of Fangmei Old House
💡The dam, shaped like fish scales, is layered and great for photos. You can also play in the water here, and it's suitable for children to catch fish.

📷Single-Plank Bridge
📌Near Cheng Family Ancestral Temple
💡The bridge surface is barely wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side, retaining a very primitive appearance. The bridge surface is made of fir planks laid out in a "one" shape, supported by several logs forming a "person" shape.
💡On one side of the single-plank bridge, there's a winnowing basket with the words "Yaoli" hanging on it. From the other side, you can see a cluster of layered horse-head wall buildings. It truly looks good no matter how you photograph it.

📷Covered Bridge and Ancient Pier
📌In front of the Anti-Japanese War Mobilization Site
💡In ancient villages and towns built by the water in the south, covered bridges are a common landmark and also a main social gathering place for residents.
💡From the bridge, you can not only admire the picturesque small boats below but also use a telephoto lens to capture a different perspective of the single-plank bridge.

💡It's made of various colored broken porcelain pieces, very characteristic of Jiangxi.
