Funabashi Andersen Park, located in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, is a public park so well-equipped that it feels more like a theme park.
Funabashi City is a sister city to Odense, Denmark, the birthplace of the world-renowned fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen. This connection led to the park's transformation from its predecessor, "Wanpaku Kingdom," with guidance from Danish experts and full cooperation from Funabashi City.
The park is meticulously designed, featuring authentic windmills, farmhouses, and various buildings that exude a distinctly foreign atmosphere.
Inside the park, there are five walking courses, offering enjoyable experiences for both adults and children.
Previously ranked as the second most desired park to visit in Japan by foreign visitors on TripAdvisor, the park gained significant attention and has since become one of Chiba Prefecture's top tourist attractions.
