🍇 Wines with a View: A Sip of Furano’s Charm

I visited Furano Winery during my Hokkaido trip, and it turned out to be a really pleasant stop. The winery sits on a little hill with panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills—very peaceful and beautiful. It wasn’t crowded when we went, so we could take our time exploring and enjoying the calm atmosphere.
Inside, we got to sample a few wines for free, including their signature red and white blends made from locally grown grapes. I’m no wine expert, but I could tell the flavors were fresh and unique—slightly lighter than European wines, which made them easy to enjoy even for someone like me who doesn’t drink often.
There’s also a shop selling their full wine selection along with jams, juices, and snacks made from local produce. I picked up a bottle of their white wine and some grape jelly to bring home. Overall, it’s a great place to stop if you’re in Furano—whether you’re into wine or just want to enjoy some scenic views and peaceful vibes.
