Take a trip to Gangwon-do in the summer

Before the corona got serious, I visited Yongpyeong for an early summer vacation. Did you know that Yongpyeong, Gangwon-do, is cold at night even though it's summer? It was hot like summer during the day, but at night, it was so cold that I had to close the windows tightly and sleep 😂 For those who want to escape the heat and enjoy a cool vacation in the summer, I really recommend a trip to the highlands of Yongpyeong-Pyeongchang 👍🏻

I stayed at a place with a view of Yongpyeong Ski Resort. In winter, that green view would be a view of the ski resort covered in white, but in summer, it had a different charm! The building itself was built a long time ago, so it wasn't fancy, but it was quite exotic. Also, the interior and exterior were very well maintained, so it was clean. It was a family of 5, and the 49 pyeong room was so spacious and nice :-) If you're traveling with your family, I recommend this place.

I'll introduce you to places worth visiting in the Yongpyeong-Pyeongchang area.
First of all, Anmok Beach in Gangneung was a 25-minute drive from my accommodation. That's close enough! :-) The closest beach to Yongpyeong is Anmok Beach. How can the ocean in Gangneung be this clean and pretty every time I see it? I just fell into a trance. It was a healing time just looking at the ocean 🌈💙 Since I went on a weekday, there weren't many people, so it was great to take in the wide ocean. If you go to Gangneung, I recommend stopping by Anmok Beach!

Another place I'd like to introduce is . It's not a hot place, but it's nice to look around quietly. Even though I don't usually like walking, I felt good walking along the dirt road with the clear stream flowing and the fir trees thick. It's summer here, but it didn't feel like summer👍🏻 It was so cool. Although you can't play in the stream, you can dip your feet in it, but the water was super cold. For those who like quiet and nature, I highly recommend the Odaesan fir forest trail🥰
