Places to visit in Gangneung, Gangwon-do

For those of you looking for a place to travel domestically this coming spring, I recommend Gangneung, which is good enough for 1 night and 2 days.

If you take the KTX from Seoul Station to Gangneung, you can get there in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

There are many beaches in Gangneung, but I recommend Sagunjin Beach, Gyeongpo Beach, and Anmok Beach.

Sagunjin Beach is famous for its rainbow terraport photo zone. Gyeongpo Beach has Sky Bay Hotel, a 5-star ocean view hotel that is great for a comfortable stay.

Gyeongpodae is right in front of Sky Bay Hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes by car to Anmok Beach.

Anmok Beach has a cafe street, so you can see the ocean no matter where you go.

Gangneung is famous for seafood and soft tofu. I ate both, but I think seafood is good for dinner and soft tofu is good for brunch.
