We chose Wucai Liangshan, which offers authentic local dishes like Tuotuo meat and roasted suckling pig, all at great value. You can enjoy the food while watching performances. The bonfire party starts at 7:30 PM, featuring unique ethnic song and dance performances from Xichang. After eating, you can even join the actors and dance around the bonfire—it’s incredibly lively.
🏨Accommodation tips: There are many lodging options nearby. For a better stay, consider the Jinjiang Inn.
💗Other tips: Tang Garden is best visited at night. When the lights come on, climbing the city wall to see the tower is absolutely stunning. By the colorful fountain, as the Yi ethnic music plays, locals dressed in traditional Yi costumes dance joyfully, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The most delicious authentic Puge black pig barbecue in Xichang is also right next to Tang Garden. Inside the garden, you’ll find a dazzling small night market and various branded milk tea shops, making it a great place for an evening stroll or meal.
