Enjoy Jeongdongjin 2-Day, 1-Night Trip 💕

⛱️ A Stroll Along the Sea from Jeongdongjin Station to Beach Cruise

Take the KTX from Seoul and arrive at Jeongdongjin Station in two hours! It's a 20-minute walk from the station to Beach Cruise. The rail bike is on the left, and the Hourglass Park is on the right. There are so many places to visit nearby without having to drive, which is why I chose Beach Cruise for my overnight stay.

⛱️ Beach Cruise Check-in

The main building (old building) Sun Cruise and the new building Beach Cruise have separate check-in desks, so please note that the parking lot is located on the lower level for Beach Cruise and on the upper level for Sun Cruise!

The Beach Cruise lobby, with its ocean view, is so beautiful it feels like you're at an overseas resort. I love the lobby concept. After checking in, take the dizzying transparent elevator up to the 16th floor.

⛱️ Beach Cruise Terrace Twin

✔️ Check-in: 3:00 PM / Check-out: 11:00 AM
✔️ Sleeps 4 / Maximum 4
✔️ 2 Super King Beds + 1 Bathroom (2 Sinks) + Whirlpool + Private Terrace

Opening the door, the azure ocean stretching out beyond the terrace catches your eye. Two super king beds, a spacious sofa that can sleep one, a kitchen table for four, and even a whirlpool with ocean views!

The spacious bathroom has two sinks and is stocked with Molton Brown amenities, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, and robes.

⛱️ Room Service

We requested room service for a late lunch. Half-and-half crispy chicken and two draft beers might be average, but eating chicken and beer on the terrace with an ocean view was delicious!

⛱️ Jeongdongjin Sculpture Park

✔️ Admission: Free for Sun Cruise & Beach Cruise guests

To get to Jeongdongjin Sculpture Park, take the connecting bridge on the 18th floor to the Sun Cruise lobby. Most of the facilities are located on the Sun Cruise, so Beach Cruise guests use the connecting bridge, which requires a card key.

Stepping outside, you'll see the expansive Jeongdongjin Theme Park. Turning around, the Sun Cruise, shaped like a large ship, makes you feel like you've stepped off a ship. The blazing sunset brings to mind a scene from the movie Titanic! 🛳

The East Sea, with its cliffs and pine trees, is breathtaking. And there's even a stairway to heaven here. I imagined myself floating in the sky, floating above the sea, and this is the perfect way to capture the feeling of walking on air when taking photos. :)

⛱️ Jeongdongjin Hourglass Park

Hourglass Park is small, but it's dotted with photo spots. The rail bike stopped running at 5 PM, so I couldn't ride it, but thanks to that, I was able to stand on the railroad tracks next to the sea and take some photos. It was quite charming, wasn't it? :)

⛱️ Crab & Sashimi Dinner

Since I'm at the sea, I have to have sashimi! I got crab and sashimi to go from a raw fish restaurant near Hourglass Park. They gave me a discount instead of the sushi.

Dinner on the beach cruise room terrace, with great people, delicious food, and the sound of the waves, the sea breeze, and the scent of the ocean, was a truly magical experience. 💕

⛱️ Beach Cruise Morning

When I think of the East Sea, I think of sunrise! I waited a long time on the terrace, but unfortunately, I didn't see it. Instead of the sun, I filled my wine glass with a dreamy image of the sea covered in sea fog. :)

⛱️ Jeongdong Simgok Sea Fan Trail

✔️ Opening Hours: Summer 9:00-17:30 / Winter 9:00-16:00

✔️ Admission: Adults 5,000 won
* Opening hours and admission fees may vary!

I left my room to soothe my regret of missing the sunrise by taking a walk along Jeongdong Simgok Sea Fan Trail. The ticket booth is located near the Sun Cruise parking lot.

It's a 1.5-2 hour round trip, so it's not an easy walk. There are many stairs and steep sections, so be careful if you have weak knees!

There are some rough sections at the beginning, but the scenery is truly beautiful. The endless East Sea stretching out beside the deck is also fantastic.

A refreshing morning stroll marked the end of a blissful, healing night on the beach cruise 😍
