I visited St. John's Hotel where you can enjoy the blue sea of ​​Gangneung and pine trees at the same time. There is a pine forest on the way from the hotel to the sea, and there are also tables, so it was nice to sit down for a while and heal while looking at the sea. There are not many other accommodations near Gangmun Beach, so it felt like a private beach, and the view was just right for the sunrise, so it was a really impressive view.
Here's a tip: Hotel check-in takes a while, so if you go a little early and get a number in advance, you can use it a little more comfortably. There are two views of the hotel, but if you go there anyway, I recommend using the ocean view. I remember using the jjimjilbang inside the hotel, but it seems to be closed due to COVID-19.
