I've been to Sokcho a lot when I go to Donghae, but I always stay in Galung downstream because I want to find a place with fewer people. There are quite a few hotels along Gangneung's Gangmun Beach, but the representative hotel is Seamark and the next is St. John's. The view is disappointing compared to Seamark because of the price difference, but St. John's is very good in terms of cost-effectiveness. The check-in time is a bit long, but there is a kiosk where you can check in yourself, so it seems like it would be good for those who are not picky about the room. I used the half-ocean view, but you can't see the sunrise there. So next time, I'm going to choose the half-ocean view. The auxiliary facilities include a jjimjilbang, infinity pool, and kids park, so it would be good to use them. The only regret is that the amenities are disposable, so I was a little concerned.
