Gangneung Cheolttuk Somyeong Gukbap is a 20-year-old Somyeong Gukbap restaurant that is always crowded with customers, whether it is the weekend or weekday. There are only two menus: Somyeong Gukbap and Boiled Pork. To remove the gamey smell, they put crushed raw garlic in the empty earthenware pots that are served to customers. They say that the taste is different when it is cooked and put in raw garlic. Usually, Somyeong Gukbap is made with white broth made by boiling the bones and miscellaneous bones for 4 hours to remove the oil. In fact, I don't really like to have a hangover cure with meat soup for breakfast, but on my last trip, I had meat soup after another. My body feels heavy. The specialty here is Seogeori. It is chilled pollack gill, and it goes well with Somyeong Gukbap.
