The construction of Jiangxi Hakka Cultural City is very unique. There is a square-shaped building with a dragon pattern inside, which is the Hakka ancestral hall. There are big red lanterns hanging high inside and the building is covered with wedding characters. The atmosphere is full of lights and decorations and it is full of joy. Later I learned that Hakka people can rent Hakka ancestral halls as wedding venues. It is really meaningful to hold a wedding in such a traditional venue. Moreover, I heard from the staff that if the bride price is low, the venue can be used for free, which is very helpful for young people to get married.
