Ganzhou｜Take Mom Through Songcheng, Ganzhou

👣 Why do Hong Kong people choose to go to Ganzhou? Because I can't pronounce "Gan," I want to visit this place. 🌝

Day 1️⃣ Starts at 2 PM | Wei Family Compound + Fushougou Museum → Zaoer Lane → Ancient Floating Bridge + Jianchun Gate + Ancient City Wall → Standard Bell Tower → Night Tour of the Song Dynasty's Never-Sleeping City
Day 2️⃣ Ends at 6 PM | Tongtianyan → High-Speed Rail Return to Hong Kong

Day 1️⃣ | Journey Through the Lights of Song Dynasty City
🚅 Departs the high-speed rail at around 11 AM! Direct journey takes about 2 hours.
❶ Wei Family Compound → Fushougou Museum (next door!)
▸ There was a tour guide, so I listened to the history of the Hakka people and the ancient water conservancy system of Fushougou! Much better than wandering around on your own 🤪
▸ 📸 Must-see spot 1: The arched water window model inside the museum – the interplay of light and shadow creates a time-travelling experience
▸ 📸 Must-see spot 2: The thousand-year-old brick-carved "Fu Shou" culvert

❷ Quickly skip Zaoer Lane → Head straight for the Ancient Floating Bridge and Jianchun Gate
▸ ⚠️ The lane is run-down and in need of repair, so skip it if you're not interested in the old streets.❌
▸ Walk towards the river to reach Jianchun Gate, the Ancient Floating Bridge, and the ancient city wall.
▸ Boat vendors selling dried goods are located on both sides of the floating bridge! Taking photos back from the floating bridge 📸 Jianchun Gate feels even more majestic.
▸ There are many vendors along the ancient city wall. The "Scallion and Fresh Meat Pancake" and "Pickled Vegetable Pancake" are really delicious 😋 Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, super fragrant and not greasy.
▸ 📸 Must-take Spot 1: Visiting the floating bridge at dusk or taking aerial photos is especially recommended! The photos will be even better! The locals swimming, boating, drying bacon, and selling dried fish are so lively and authentic~🌅

❸ Standard Bell Tower → Night Tour of Songchao City
▸ The area around the Standard Bell Tower has been renovated, giving it a modern feel! Find the right angle for stunning photos.
▸ A 5-minute walk takes you right into "Dream of the Red Chamber." 🏮 Arrive at Songchao Night City for a night out.
▸ Songchao Night City is filled with ancient buildings, offering games, vendors, and the usual restaurants.
🍽️ Dinner at "Zou Chu New Gan Cuisine Restaurant."
▸ Rice noodle fish and stir-fried local pork with chili peppers—sour, spicy, and flavorful! 40 yuan per person for a filling meal.
▸ For larger groups, I recommend "Song Family Courtyard." Order your food outside with bamboo skewers before you sit down! Each portion is enormous. 🤩

Then we headed back to the hotel to rest! I don't know if I experienced Ganzhou the wrong way, but I didn't quite get the excitement of Ganzhou on the first day. 🧐 But the second day, after visiting Tongtianyan, I felt it was truly amazing!
