Dongfeng Wanshou Palace, Gaoping City, Shanxi

Also known as Shenggu Temple, it is located in Shangdongfeng Village, Yuancun Township, Gaoping City, Shanxi Province. Dongfeng Wanshou Palace was first built in 1284, and was rebuilt during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It covers an area of 1,285 square meters, and has two courtyards. On the central axis, there are the mountain gate, Sanjiao Hall, inverted opera stage, Yuyu Stone Pavilion, and Shenggu Hall. The mountain gate has a plaque with the words "Wanshou Palace" on it. Dongfeng Wanshou Palace has many steles and murals, which provide important resources and materials for the study of local folk beliefs in the early Yuan Dynasty.
