At the Mercure Hotel where I stayed on this trip to Kochi, the "Bamboo Lantern Night" was being held, and I was able to enjoy the fantastic lighting of the bamboo lanterns on a winter night 🌟

Bamboo once supported Geisei Village's main industry, but now it has become a problem called "bamboo damage," so this event was planned to utilize such bamboo 🎋

This year, it was only until January 13th, so it's already over, but I'm glad I was able to enjoy the winter scenery of Geisei Village 🌛🩰
