Kochi Travel!

πŸ“… Travel Itinerary
Day 1:
πŸ“ Muroto Haikou Aquarium
Parking was free. Although not very spacious, it had many creatures, and the nostalgic atmosphere with elementary school desks and textbooks was delightful!

πŸ“ Kiramesse Muroto Restaurant Shokuyuu - Kujira no Sato
We had the Whale Set Meal and sashimi of squid from Aki! Even at 2:00 PM, there was a waiting line, but the food was incredibly delicious.

πŸ“ Mercure Kochi Tosa Resort & Spa
Check-in at 3:00 PM! We immediately enjoyed the lounge with unlimited alcohol, soft drinks, and snacks! The room had an ocean view. Dinner was a buffet featuring many ingredients from Kochi Prefecture! We could eat plenty of seared bonito. The onsen included a sauna and open-air bath, and there was also an onsen lounge! The night lounge offered more alcohol options than during the day, allowing you to mix your favorite drinks. Breakfast was also a buffet and very delicious.

Day 2:
πŸ“ Katsurahama
About a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The statue of Ryoma Sakamoto was very large and stood on a high spot! The crescent-shaped sandy beach sparkled beautifully under the sunlight reflecting on the water! At the Katsurahama Aquarium right in front, you could feed many creatures, making it enjoyable for both children and adults!

πŸ“ Hirome Market
We visited in the early afternoon, but it was crowded as it was the last day of a three-day weekend. Seating was shared. There were many shops, and you could enjoy alcohol even during the day! From there, we walked to Obiyamachi Shopping Arcade! We didn’t do much in particular but enjoyed strolling around.

πŸ“ Tosanosato AGRI COLLETTO
Located next to the roadside station Tosanosato, this facility had many souvenirs and a restaurant! You could probably find all the Kochi souvenirs you need here!
