My one-day adventure in Geneva left me absolutely captivated by Lake Geneva! Here's how I made the most of it:

📍 Morning Exploration:
Around 11 AM, I headed out to visit the United Nations Office at Geneva (Palais des Nations) and the iconic Broken Chair sculpture nearby. These powerful symbols offer a moment for reflection and a glimpse into global diplomacy.

🚤 Afternoon Delight: Lake Geneva Cruise:
The highlight of the day was definitely the Lake Geneva boat cruise in the afternoon. The views from the water were truly stunning, with the city's elegant architecture and the majestic Alps in the distance creating a breathtaking panorama. My cruise wrapped up around 5 PM, and I headed back to the hotel feeling completely refreshed by the lakeside beauty.

🏨 Accommodation & Seamless Travel:
I stayed at a hotel near the airport, which proved super convenient. The hotel provided a complimentary Geneva transport card, making it easy to get around the city all day without worrying about tickets. In the evening, I purchased a Friends Day Pass for Youth for my journey to Interlaken. This allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel during the day, pick it up before departing for Interlaken, and then head straight to Geneva Airport train station for my onward journey.

Geneva is a fantastic city to explore, and Lake Geneva truly is its crowning jewel!
