Backdoor Bodega is a speakeasy bar located at Jalan Gurdwara, Penang. Though hidden inside a store, this bar isn't exactly a secret amongst everyone here! The entrance is through The Swagger Salon, a clothing store. Make reservations through their page to avoid any disappointment!

Their cocktail menu is based on local flavors and more, and there's even mocktail selections as well. For something sweet, we suggest Kelapa Hotak and Mango Sticky Rice! Something spicy and out of this world? Tom (Yam) Collins is our pick!

The award-winning bartenders are extremely friendly and if you'd like to try something even more adventurous, let them know and they'll whip up something to your liking!

The shop is also known as an "overpriced pin shop" rather than a bar, because essentially you purchased yourself an enamel pin and basically get these drinks for "free". Clever gimmick, we love it and is currently collecting their pins!

Definitely a "hidden" gem, get it?
