German-built Jinan Jiaoji Railway Museum

Located near Jinan Railway Station, this European-style building features an outdoor display of train engines at its entrance. Formerly the old Jinan Station, it has now been converted into the Jinan Jiaoji Railway Museum, with free admission.

This century-old building once served as the station house for the Jiaoji Railway's Jinan Station and the Jiaoji Railway Hotel. The museum's interior exhibits provide detailed historical explanations about the German occupation of Shandong and the construction of the Jiaoji Railway. The intertwined history of colonization and development is both poignant and worth exploring.
