Along Gurney Drive, you’ll be able to spot this restaurant — Jia Shi Restaurant 家式, meaning home-style.

They serve a wide variety of dishes, vegetables, tofu, meat, fish, you name it! We ordered dishes such as stir-fried glass noodles, stir-fried oyster noodles, braised fish with yam, stir-fried french beans with dried shrimps, shrimp date and tofu with eggplant. All the dishes were good!

The portion was pretty decent considering the price. It is quite crowded when we patronized the restaurant but there is plenty of seats available.
