Loo Pun Hong, an oldest carpenters' guild

Loo Pun Hong (鲁班行) is an old Chinese Taoist temple, also known as the Carpenters' Guild which was build in 1880s, had a minor restoration works completed in 2001, this temple had been listed as UNESCO heritage site in George Town.
The murals of outer side wall showcases the story about Lu Ban(鲁班, a master of carpenter in ancient China). The temple looks small and simple from exterior, however the craftsmanship of the alter and main hall of the temple is impressive and detailed, The temple is truly a hidden gem in George Town.
