🌅 Tan Jetty Fishing Village, Penang

This village is located in the northeast of Penang Island. It is one of the famous bridges and surnames named after the bridge that called the village in that area. It is a wooden house in the shape of a bridge on Pintao Beach, which fully shows the culture of the Chinese family and the characteristics of marine habitats. It is the youngest jetty, but!!! It is the jetty with the longest wooden platform. When we went, the sky was a little dark 🌧 But it was still possible to visit.

Tan Jetty is part of the jetty group along the Penang waterfront. Compared to Chew Jetty, Tan Jetty is smaller and less maintained. This group of jetties is for the Tan family's residence only. There is no commercial activity. 🏠👨👩👧👨👩👧👧

But!!! What is interesting is 🛕 A small shrine at the end of the jetty makes this place stand out and famous because people take pictures and post them on social media. Due to the age of the bridge, coupled with less maintenance of the pillars and walkways, the public cannot access the end of the jetty. Only residents can access it. However, this jetty is still the best place to take pictures. 📸🖼
