I stumbled upon this place and had the best coffee and delicious charcoal-flavored toast in Penang.

The coffee, brewed in the traditional Malaysian way, is really rich and savory. I tried the Salted Coffee, which was recommended by the cafe, and it had a sweet and slightly bitter taste, just like dalgona! The portion was generous too 🧡

I also had the toast called Roti Goyang, which comes with a half-boiled egg on top, and it was really 👍👍👍. Honestly, I couldn't taste the charcoal flavor in other cafes, but the toast here is full of it. The bread is crispy and moist, and the half-boiled egg is perfectly seasoned, making it really delicious.

Looking at the photos in the cafe, it seems like it's not well-known in Korea, but it's highly recommended by locals.

Oh, and I recommend the window seat on the second floor where you can overlook the streets of George Town. It's also great for taking photos 😊

The air conditioning is strong, and there's Wi-Fi, so it's a good place to do some personal work while enjoying coffee and toast.

The interior is clean, and the staff are all very friendly.

(It's especially good for breakfast since it opens at 8:30 AM 👍)
