🍳 A Chill Breakfast Retreat at Ayataya, G Hotel Gurney

One of our mornings at G Hotel, we decided to skip the usual hotel breakfast and try Ayataya, a cafe located within the same building. It turned out to be a great decision.

The staff welcomed us warmly, and we were quickly seated despite it being a Saturday morning. I appreciated how spacious the layout was—tables were nicely spaced out, offering a good sense of privacy which made the whole experience feel a lot more relaxed.

We kept it simple and ordered the eggs benedict and, of course, our morning coffees. The eggs could’ve been a little runnier for our liking, but everything else made up for it—the bread was surprisingly flavorful, and the hollandaise sauce was well-balanced, creamy but not overpowering.

Their house brew had that signature light roast profile with a tinge of sourness—something you’d enjoy if you’re into a more delicate, nuanced cup.

The ambiance was a standout—quiet, chill, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a great escape from the usual breakfast crowd. Prices were reasonable too. Definitely a place I’d consider returning to for a peaceful start to the day.
