A temple embracing the sea, a healing walk at Haedong Yonggungsa

During my trip to Gijang, Busan, I visited Haedong Yonggungsa. The temple is located right by the seaside, and from the moment I was greeted by the sound of waves and the refreshing sea breeze, I felt at ease. The scenery of the calm sea blending with the crimson sky was a visual delight throughout the walk.

Strolling leisurely through the temple, I admired the dragon sculptures, intricate bridges, and pagodas set against the backdrop of the sea. There were plenty of picturesque spots that naturally made me pause to take photos. At sunset, the interplay of sunlight and the sea created even more stunning colors, enriching the emotional experience of the trip.

Around the temple, there are spaces where you can enjoy simple souvenirs and drinks, allowing for a moment of relaxation and leisure. Haedong Yonggungsa is not just a tourist attraction but a must-visit destination in Busan where you can experience healing, photography, and a serene walk by the sea.
