Driving: Currently, you cannot drive to the Salt Lake by car. You need to stop at the distribution center, buy a ticket, and take a bus to the lake. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Tips:

1. The amazing salt lake scenery, the aerial photography effect is absolutely beautiful, it's worth the five hours I spent there....

2. The scenic spot is in the industrial zone, and you need to buy tickets and bus tickets to enter, the price is 100 RMB;

3. After arriving at the scenic spot, you can walk around (5km round trip), or spend 15 yuan to take a battery car to the end point and then go back;

4. The place where you walk on the lake salt bridge is at the entrance, you can check in at the end;

5. It is very sunny and there is no shade, so be sure to take good sun protection. There is a restroom at the starting point and the end point;

6. The view will be compromised without a drone, so make sure to go when the weather is good.

7. Chaerhan has no food and accommodation, so you can only choose to stay in Golmud, which is 50km away!

8. Don’t touch water with your bare feet, as it is corrosive and can cause damage to your skin.
