Introducing Jinhai Snow Mountain
The Guiding Jinhai Snow Mountain Scenic Area is located in Panjiang Town, Guiding County. It encompasses eleven natural villages, including Yinzhai, Luohai, Zhulinbao, and Maidong. This scenic area is a typical Buyi ethnic village community and is known as "China's No. 1 Buyi Village."
The so-called "Golden Sea" refers to the hundreds of acres of rapeseed flowers that bloom across the Yinzhai plain every March, resembling a vast expanse of gold. The so-called "Snow Mountain" refers to the same season, as every household in Yinzhai plants plum trees in front of and behind their houses. Every spring equinox, as far as the eye can see from Yinzhai, the distant and nearby mountains are covered in pure white plum blossoms, clusters and patches that, from afar, resemble a blanket of snow. These are the renowned Panjiang Su plum blossoms.
The two complement each other, forming a splendid natural wonder.
