Lake Skadar, have you been there?

Within easy reach of Podgorica, Lake Skadar is a must if visiting Montenegro in the Balkans. Head to the Lake Skadar Visitor Centre at Virpazar. From there you can take a fantastic boat cruise around the lake taking in the exquisite natural beauty of the area, become mesmerised by the tranquil beauty of the lake. The boat cruise includes drinks and snacks and even an opportunity to explore an old monastery located on an island in the lake. A truly enchanting place. The Balkans and Montenegro in particular are one of my favourite places to travel to. I can’t wait to visit again in the future.
