I went to Cappadocia in Turkey for 3 nights and 4 days✈️

Among them, I would like to write about the hot air balloon tour that you should try at least once since you have come to Cappadocia✍️
And I will share here what I thought about the experience and what to be careful about.

Sunrise hot air balloon tour starting early in the morning🎈
I made an online reservation from Japan in advance and headed there.

The price was cheaper than the local tour, probably because it was the low season in winter💰
I heard that the capacity may be reached early in the high season, so it may be a good idea to make an online reservation in advance.
If you are going in the low season such as autumn and winter, one way to go is to compare online reservations with local tours after arriving in Goreme☝️

And the important thing is that the success rate varies greatly depending on the season you go🫵🏻😵💫

Even in April to September, when it is said to be relatively easy to fly balloons, the success rate is high, although there are flight cancellations depending on the weather. However, in winter, the wind and humidity can make it more difficult to fly than in the summer season.

I visited at the end of November, so I stayed for three nights in case my flight was canceled☝🏻💫❕

My flight was actually canceled twice, but the third time was a charm and I was able to board safely on the morning of my return🎈🤍

So, if you want to ride a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, I recommend that you make a schedule with plenty of time𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒

Istanbul → 22:00 Arrived in Nevsehir✈️
It was late so we headed straight to the hotel and checked in and went to bed

✔️Day 2
Hot air balloon tour from early morning
Waited for a call to confirm the tour, but flight was cancelled due to bad weather
Immediately rebooked tomorrow's hot air balloon tour online🔄

In the morning, we strolled around the town of Goreme
In the afternoon, we participated in a sunset horse riding tour🫏🤍

✔️Day 3
Hot air balloon tour from early morning that we rebooked yesterday
Flight was cancelled again due to poor visibility
We rebooked the hot air balloon tour online to try again tomorrow🔄

Participated in the Red Tour that takes a whole day around Cappadocia⛰️

✔️Day 4
Finally, we were blessed with fine weather and went on our long-awaited hot air balloon tour🎈🤍

12:00 Checked out of the hotel
15:30 Returned from Nevsehir to Istanbul✈️

If the flight is canceled during the online tour, you should check whether you can get a full refund → rebook and try again tomorrow, or whether you can slide the reservation to tomorrow or later without refunding☝️🤍

And when I actually rode the hot air balloon,
I was moved by the spectacular view that spread out in front of me like a postcard✨It's definitely one of the views I'll remember when I look back on my life𓈒⁺🕊️⸝⸝

Since you came all the way to Cappadocia, you should definitely try a hot air balloon ride!
And I recommend staying for a few days❕🩵

And since it was an early morning tour, it was possible to organize a red tour or horse riding tour after it was over☝🏻🎶💞
