Cappadocia | Recommended balloon viewing spots

A hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia is a must-do on a trip to Turkey, isn't it? Of course, I recommend riding a hot air balloon, but I've heard that it's quite scary and worrying. So, I'll introduce you to a hot air balloon viewing spot that I actually went to, where even people with a fear of heights can enjoy Cappadocia. 📍Balloons Highest View point in Göreme (This is the location that appears on Google Maps) Address: İsali - Gaferli - Avcılar, 50180 Göreme/Nevşehir Merkez/Nevşehir, Turkey I wanted to get a good position, so I aimed to go around 5:30 in the morning 🚶♀️ As you can see in the third photo, it's still pitch black! There were already quite a few people waiting for the sunrise. There are some places with poor footing, so please watch your step ⚠️ Preparations for the launch of the balloons begin around 6 o'clock. As I was doing this, the sunrise came in the opposite direction to the balloons 🌄

Around 6:30, the balloons started to rise,
and the view that I saw in the guidebook spread out before me.
It was different from the view from above,
and I was impressed by the view that seemed to blend in with the city and the balloons.
The colorful balloons and the strange rock formations
all at once made me feel like I was in Turkey! 🤩
It was a great sight to see the balloons passing directly overhead!

It's an easy balloon viewing spot to get to in about 10 to 15 minutes from the city center.
