Who said Turkey is only about Antalya and all-inclusive hotels? This country has the power to amaze even the most seasoned traveler.

Cappadocia, with its landscapes that resemble another planet, is one of the most extraordinary places I've ever visited.

How to Get There?
✈️ By plane from major Turkish cities to Kayseri,
🚌 By bus from Ankara/Antalya to Göreme.

What to Do?
🌅 Watch the sunrise from a hot air balloon—just don't oversleep! Otherwise, you'll only see the balloons in other people's photos.
🚗 Ride ATVs or jeeps through the alien-like landscapes.
🐎 Go horseback riding in the Love Valley, known for its 18+ shaped rock formations.
🏺 Try your hand at pottery in the village of Avanos.
🏰 Enjoy breathtaking views from the top of Uçhisar Castle.
🍴 Dine in a real cave—an atmosphere that's a perfect 10 out of 10!

What to Try?
🥘 Testi kebab—meat and vegetables slow-cooked in a clay pot, which is dramatically broken open right in front of you.
🫓 Gözleme—thin flatbread with various fillings (my favorite is with greens and cheese).
🍷 Local wines (yes, I was also surprised to learn that Cappadocia is a wine-producing region).

💡 Tip: Hot air balloon flights can be canceled due to bad weather, so it's best to plan a 3-4 day trip to increase your chances of seeing the sunrise from above.
