Sanxingdui Ruins and Sanxingdui Museum
are not the same place
Sanxingdui Ruins are about 3 kilometers away from Sanxingdui Museum
(about 1 hour walk)
Starting from the museum
whether you go west along Yazi River to the north entrance of the ruins
or along Xiangxin Road to the south entrance of the ruins
the distance is about the same
there is no bus to the ruins
taking a car is the most convenient way to get there
riding a shared bicycle is also a way
but there are shared bicycles outside the museum
bicycles and vehicles are not allowed to enter the ruins
there are two main sacrificial pits in the ruins
the distance between the north and south entrances of the ruins is about 1 hour walk
if you have a strong interest in archaeology
you can go and visit
