Cloud and Mist Wonderland Hiking Guide

Come relax in Yunnan! Anning and Guangnan are two off-the-beaten-path destinations with fewer crowds, beautiful scenery, and an overwhelming sense of happiness. Tested personally, no disappointments at all~

🏨 Highly recommended accommodation: Anning Dilianya Boutique Hotel (Ninghu No.1 Branch)
This hotel completely exceeded expectations! Located in Building A of Ninghu No.1, close to the lakeside and city center, with plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. The lake view room we stayed in had an amazing view, and at night you can see the twinkling city lights✨
The front desk staff were super attentive, the room was spotless and shining! The bedding was soft and cozy, and the bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation. The biggest surprise was the free parking lot, perfect for self-driving trips (⚠️Tip: choose a higher floor for a better view)

🌿 Must-visit attraction: Guangnan Bamei, a hidden paradise
A little-known fairyland tucked away in Wenshan Prefecture! The scenic area is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the 180 RMB ticket is totally worth it~
The moment you take a small boat through the karst cave entrance is truly breathtaking, a 1:1 recreation of the Peach Blossom Spring scene! If you visit in March, you can also see vast fields of rapeseed flowers, perfect for postcard-worthy photos. Comfortable shoes are recommended as it’s great for a full day of slow exploration (remember to bring a jacket, it’s a bit cool inside the cave)

🍜 Food highlights:
The crossing-the-bridge rice noodles near the Anning hotel are amazing! The broth is incredibly fresh
In Guangnan, you must try the Zhuang ethnic five-color glutinous rice, which is sold right in the scenic area

🚗 Transportation tips:
Renting a car in Kunming is the most convenient; it’s about 1 hour to Anning and 5 hours to Guangnan by car
There is a direct shuttle from Guangnan High-Speed Rail Station to the scenic area, super hassle-free
