Guangdong Art Museum

Address: No. 38, Yan Yu Road, Ersha Island, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou
Tickets: Free
Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 (Closed on Mondays)
Guangdong Art Museum is located on the beautiful Ersha Island. In front of the museum, there is a large open space with rows of towering coconut trees and neatly arranged stone sculptures lying lazily, giving a sense of beauty and order.
On the day I visited, only one exhibition hall on the second floor was open. It was Ma Ruocong's solo exhibition 'Various', featuring a total of 13 works. Each piece revolves around nature and life, presenting the artist's deep thoughts and insights on life. The first glance was stunning, with delicate brushstrokes, smooth lines, and natural color transitions. Some were hard to understand, but as I continued to look, I felt the world through the artist's eyes, and goosebumps appeared. It was very powerful!
The special exhibition 'Guardians Across Time and Space' on art protection and restoration was not yet set up that day, which was a pity. I will visit again next time.
