Yuhe Square is located at the southern end of Yushui Street in the Old Town of Lijiang, Yunnan Province, at the transition zone between the commercial and residential buildings of Yushui Lane and Lijiang Old Town, between Yulong Bridge and the underground parking lot. Spanning 7,600 square meters, it features 1,747.5 square meters of green space, planted with dozens of flower species and ancient trees. It also boasts three wells of varying heights and gurgling streams, a musical fountain, ethnic sculptures, and numerous wooden benches. It serves as the gateway to Lijiang Old Town.
The famous water wheel is right next to the square and is a must-visit spot for countless tourists to take photos; on the other side is a Dongba wind chime corridor, which is hung with wind chimes with words like love, friendship, family, and blessings written on them.
