If you don’t want to encounter the crowded Shamian, it is recommended to arrange the trip in the morning.

You can start from #粤CustomsMuseum, exit from Exit A of Metro Cultural Park Station, and walk 390 meters to arrive. Its European architectural style attracts many tourists to check in. Then you can walk to the nearby #Shamian Island, which was once the British and French concessions and has many ancient buildings with European style. Walking among them, you feel like you are in an exotic town.

It is recommended to visit #Lourdes Catholic Church. This church was built in 1863 and is one of the Catholic activity centers in Guangzhou. Its Gothic architectural style contrasts with the surrounding European-style buildings and is a beautiful landscape on Shamian Island. The stained glass windows and exquisite carvings inside the church are also worth seeing.

Most of the ancient buildings on the island have been transformed into coffee shops, museums and cultural and creative stores. You can find a cafe and savor and explore them carefully.

At lunch time, you can walk to Huangsha or go to the #TaoTaoJu main store in #Shangxiajiu to taste one of the most classic Cantonese dim sum in Guangzhou.

In the afternoon, you can go to #Yongqingfang and #Lizhiwan to continue your journey.
