You must visit Guangzhou Daguan Wetland Park!
The patches of bald cypress there are stunningly beautiful, like a colorful oil painting, from light yellow to deep red. It's like being in a fairy tale world, so healing!
Travel tips:
1. Daguan Wetland Park is a very long and narrow park. If you only want to take pictures of bald cypress, it is recommended to enter from the north gate, where there are more concentrated trees.
2. If you want to visit the waterfront terrace, please enter from West Gate 11, West Gate 12, or West Gate 13.
3. If you want to visit the Science Park Branch of Tianhe District Library or the cafe, enter from West Gate 10.
4. If you want to take a walk around the lake, passing by the library, the cafe, and the waterfront platform to where the bald cypress grows, then take the bus to Ruanshi Road Station and walk in.
5. Be sure to come on a sunny day! There is a huge difference between taking photos with the sun and without the sun.
6. The park allows camping, picnicking, and bringing pets. It has restrooms, convenience stores, and parking lots.
7. The park is free and reservation-free and is open 24 hours a day.
