The Peasant Movement Institute in Guangzhou is a key historical site from China’s revolutionary past. It was established in 1924 with the support of Sun Yat-sen, and later led by Mao Zedong in 1926 during its 6th training session. The institute trained young revolutionaries and rural organizers, many of whom became influential figures in the Chinese Communist movement.
