Missed the cherry blossoms in Changsha for 2024? No worries, Guangzhou has its own spring beauty to offer! Last Sunday, while strolling around Luhu Park, I discovered some beautiful Thai cherry blossoms (also known as Flowering Crape Myrtle or 花旗木), in full bloom at the park's South Gate. 🌿

🌼 Why visit?

The Flowering Crape Myrtle blooms in stunning clusters of pink blossoms, creating a picturesque view.
This is the peak blooming period, so it's the perfect time to visit!
The flowers resemble sakura but have their own unique charm, making it a hidden gem in Guangzhou.
📍 Location: Luhu Park – Yunshan Jingjie area

🚍 How to get there:
Bus: Take bus 245, Tourism Bus 1, or 63 to Luhu Park (Yibo Yuan) Station.
Metro: Exit C from Xiaobei Station, though it's a bit of a walk.
For easy navigation, search Lihu Bei on maps, and Yunshan Jingjie is right across the street!
