[Guangzhou Luhu Park｜A day of leisure in a green park]

I’ve always been an urban girl who fears boredom, but rather always longs for a breather Just on a long-lost sunny Wednesday, I took a half-day off and slowly walked to Foothill Lake Park by myself, wanting to give myself a quiet afternoon.

Luhu Park is actually very historical. It was built in 1958. It was originally a mountainous area on the outskirts of Guangzhou. It was later transformed into a natural space for urban people to relax and relax.

Honestly, after getting off at the subway station it was a short walk to get there, but along the way I was walking slowly, breathing slowly, and before I entered the park I was surrounded by a large lemon eucalyptus aroma, it was refreshing, relaxing, and the whole person woke up.

The first reaction when I entered was, “Wow, it’s so big and beautiful!” The grass unfolded in patches, the roads were straight and clean, and the whole view melted into my eyes like green oil.

Foothill Lake really has more than just a large lawn, its ecology is very good, with cedar, lotus pond, plants I can't count, and many birds, small animals, ducks, swans, furry dogs and everything along the way.

I also climbed the tower called "Hong Yu Building", while climbing while scolding myself why I did not take the elevator (because I can't take it haha), the stairs are really so many that I want to roll my eyes, but when I walk to the top, four stories high and look at the entire foothill lake view down, all the hard work is worth it.

Finally I did not miss the moment to go back to the grass to hang out, I stayed for more than half an hour, with my headphones playing some songs, sleepy and not really sleep, in that blissful state of not wanting to move, just want to quietly enjoy the sunshine, wind, grass, everything is just right.

Sometimes, being with yourself quietly is enough.
