Here comes the Baiyun Mountain travel guide! Little Baiyun⛰️ totally nailed it😏
Hiking 13 kilometers, hello darlings!~
A relaxing weekend hike is definitely a great health-boosting activity. Not only can you enjoy beautiful scenery, but you can also feel the summer coolness on the mountain.
Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain🏜️ hidden gem photo spots
Hiking✅oxygen intake✅flower viewing✅photography spots
Baiyun Mountain South Gate · Guangzhou Stele Forest · Moxingling
Route: South Gate → Mountain Top Plaza → Guangzhou Stele Forest → Moxingling (enter from South Gate, exit from West Gate) → Dangxiong Pavilion → Peach Blossom Stream → Huangpoding Reservoir → West Gate
1⃣️ Start from Baiyun Mountain South Gate (5 RMB ticket). Climb up along the right side to the mountain top plaza, and you can see small flowers along the way.
2⃣️ From the mountain top plaza (go right) head towards Jiulong Spring (if you don’t know the way, you can use navigation). The third picture shows the route signs, and there’s delicious tofu pudding for 8 RMB a bowl.
3⃣️ From the right stone stairs of Jiulong Spring, climb up for about 15 minutes (you’ll see a fork). Take the left path to reach the scenic cave with a viewpoint overlooking the entire Canton Tower (see pictures 4 and 5).
4⃣️ Moxingling South Gate has an escalator going up, while the West Gate has very steep stairs. The shortcut leads to Dangxiong Pavilion. It’s quite challenging but a great experience.
You can see Canton Tower from many spots on Baiyun Mountain, especially when the breeze blows—it’s really comfortable and pleasant, feeling much cooler than the city. Many people walk while playing music and listening to songs, which adds some motivation. Let all your emotions out, shout all your frustrations at the top, and take beautiful photos📸 up there👀. Take advantage of the summer and set off now.
