Panyu Lotus Mountain | A Fairyland of Lotuses, Golden Blooms in the Mist Take Your Breath Away!

| A Fairyland of Lotuses, Golden Blooms in the Mist Take Your Breath Away! It's my first time seeing such vast fields of vibrant golden and red lotuses—absolutely stunning! (Recently, you can also spot the rare "Twin Lotus," appearing for the first time in over 30 years 🪷 See third photo.)

⏰ Blooming Period: Now until mid-August.

📸 Highlights:
🌸 Dual-Colored Lotus Sea: Lotus Lake features the rare golden lotus "Lin Ting Chun Ai" (said to be a new variety this year, see second photo), while the Lotus Fairyland boasts pink lotuses. Over 1,200 lotus varieties.
💥 Artificial Mist: The Lotus Fairyland sprays mist daily (cool and enchanting), though I personally prefer the sunlight for its vivid beauty.
🖼️ Hanfu Photography: Capture ink-wash-style masterpieces in Hanfu (50% off entry for Hanfu wearers!).

[Salute] Beyond lotuses, explore the ancient quarry ruins, the Guanyin Statue (for blessings), and Ming Dynasty city walls.

🍜 Food & Drinks:
✅ Summit Cantonese Cuisine: The "Lotus Banquet" at Lotus Mountain Yuehai Resort—each dish resembles a lotus painting (a bit pricey, but worth it!). Also available: duo meals (starting at ¥138, including two tickets—great deal!).
✅ Snacks: Mountain tofu pudding (¥5), vegetarian rice rolls, chilled double-layer milk pudding, honey egg tarts! Vegetarian restaurant!
✅ Creative Merch: Lotus-themed ice cream (second one half-price!).

💡 Tips:
1. Essentials: Mosquito repellent, sun hat, sunscreen, sunglasses (can double as a filter).
2. Effort-Saving Route: West Gate → Take the shuttle (¥10) straight to Guanyin Statue → Walk downhill to the lotus gardens (personally, the distance feels manageable—no need for the shuttle).

🎫 Tickets: Full-price ¥54, students/seniors half-price ¥27. Free for middle/college entrance exam takers with ID/admission letter (until Sept. 30); companions get 20% off. Hanfu wearers: 50% off entry!

🚗 Transport:
1. Metro: Line 4, Shiqi Station Exit A → Take bus 92/93 to West Gate or taxi.
2. Drive: Navigate to "Lotus Mountain West Gate." Parking ¥10/vehicle—plenty of spots at the summit.
