( In China , especially if you are spelling the name in Pinyin - the English pronunciation for Chinese - there are alot same place and you don’t want to be the one end up on the wrong destination !! )

Baiyun Mountain is not one of highest in Guangdong but the most popular one in Guangzhou with vast area it’s 3 gates - The Main Gate ( can get by Bus ) , the Wast Gate ( Metro ) and the South Gate

The entrance fee for main entrance to the scenery area is 5rmb.
You have go pay 5rmb for entrance to the peak ( where you can do camping )

As most of the Mountains in China , the route on Baiyun Mountain is all well paved and slabbed so you will basically be walking on an incline road if you follow the main route.

There are many Flower gardens and pavilions along the way.

Activities like - Bungee jumping , Zip Lines

If you feel like not walking anymore , you can also take Buggy from one point to another ( there are specific Bunny points taking you to the gates - you might need to transfer and a ride cost 10rmb )

It’s expected to spend 4 -6hrs if u want to enjoy you hike up slowly

You can also spend the night on the mountain - go camping & star gazing ( The best part of Baiyun Mountain ) !!!
Since it’s a popular destination and well preserved one , it’s pretty safe to spend the night !

Along the way , there are many vending machines for Drinks and stores for snacks.
( Stores tends to b more expensive !!! So stick to vending machines if you’re just getting the drinks )
