Guangzhou trip🇨🇳🌇🏙️🍃

Guangzhou is where East meets West and modern skyscrapers stand beside colonial gems 🌁🏛️ If you’re looking to explore a city with epic contrasts, Guangzhou won’t let you down—even if you’re dodging crowds during national holidays!

Here’s my hit list for must-see spots:
Canton Tower (No.222 West Yuejiang Road, Zhuhai District): Skip the usual skyline—this mega-tall beauty gives you wild views from its observation decks. Open daily, till 22:30; ticket: ¥135. Insanely photogenic, especially in the misty, rainy weather! Pro tip: Go early or late to avoid tourist rush.
Sha Mian (No.53-54 Shabei North St, Liwan District): Stroll among leafy avenues and Western-style architecture, perfect for Instagram and history buffs. Open all day, so grab coffee and slow-walk the tree-lined streets.
Haixin Bridge (晴波路, Yuexiu): A modern city icon connecting green parks and river scenery! Warning: during holidays it’s a crowd magnet, so visit early morning or catch the night lights after 9pm.
Baomo Garden (Dachuangang, Ziyan Village, Shawan Town, Panyu): Traditional Chinese structures set in lush gardens—ideal for a cultural breather. Open 8:30–17:00, ticket: ¥54. Nature and architecture lovers, don’t miss the koi ponds!

Getting around: Metro is the GOAT for hopping attractions (fast, clean, cheap). Use trip.com for ticketing and local tips.

Eats: Try dim sum at local tea restaurants near Sha Mian, or grab spicy street snacks near Canton Tower.

And I highly recommend taking a stroll along the embankment in the evening, it offers incredible views of the city.
National holiday hack: Popular spots (like Haixin Bridge) get jam-packed—hit them off-peak, or plan detours for quieter garden strolls.
