This building, built in the late Qing Dynasty as a residence and gathering place for the descendants of the Chen clan who were taking the imperial examinations, exudes grandeur and beauty, resembling a small palace. It now serves as the Guangdong Folk Art Museum.

The most striking feature is the sculptures and carvings adorning the building, especially the ridge decorations, filled with colorful terracotta figures, vividly depicting legends and the daily lives of the Chinese.
