Is July the peak season for Huangguoshu Waterfall? Here's the off-peak guide.

Recently, Huangguoshu Waterfall has been extremely crowded. The scenery is truly spectacular, but the sea of people is also very real.

🎫 Tickets: Off-season: Those with student IDs or other discount certificates can get free tickets, which can be purchased directly at the scenic area. Be sure to buy the sightseeing bus ticket for 50 yuan.

⛰️ Scenic Route: Doupotang ➡️ Grand Waterfall ➡️ Tianxing Bridge
👢 Wear anti-slip and comfortable shoes! When the weather is hot, make sure to protect yourself from the sun. You can buy a hat to wear.

1️⃣ First Stop: Doupotang
Mainly features some filming locations from "Journey to the West," but personally, it doesn’t feel particularly special. Here, you can get a bird's-eye view of the grand waterfall.

2️⃣ Second Stop: Grand Waterfall
The most recommended spot among all the attractions!! The highlight! Super impressive.
🟡 It’s advisable to buy the round-trip escalator ticket (50 yuan). Otherwise, it’s really exhausting and will waste a lot of time 😭😭. By the end, I was so glad I bought it.
🟡 Water Curtain Cave: If you have enough time and good stamina, it’s worth a visit. Personally, I found it quite interesting.

3️⃣ Third Stop: Tianxing Bridge (Time not specifically calculated, at least 1.5 hours)
⚠️ It’s recommended to only walk the lower half. It’s really, really exhausting. Don’t enter through the main gate; instead, take the stairs on the left side of the entrance. Later, you’ll see official signs.
