Self-driving or joining a hiking group is recommended. For self-driving, navigate to "Guanjiao Village" and drive directly to Guanjiao Hydropower Station (if you can’t find it on the map, try satellite view or ask locals). It’s about 2.5 hours from Guiyang, covering 170 kilometers with a toll fee of 65 yuan.

🗺️ Itinerary:
Park at Guanjiao Hydropower Station, then head down beside the station and hike about 1.3 kilometers through the valley to explore the essence of the Ice Cauldron area. The route is short and easy👍
