This is a rare glacial relic in China, where three million years ago, glacial meltwater carved out a myriad of strange and wonderful rock potholes like "water drills." This is the essence of the entire scenic area, where the river valley is filled with ice mills of varying sizes and shapes. The larger ice mills can reach 15 meters in diameter, resembling giant bathtubs; the smaller ones are as delicate as buttons. Some are as round as a full moon, while others are shaped like gourds, hearts, or plum blossoms. Their upper openings are slightly smaller, the middle and lower parts are larger, and the bottoms are flat or slightly concave, perfectly illustrating the characteristic "small opening, large belly, flat bottom" of ice mills. Under the sunlight, the ice mills filled with blue-green water sparkle like scattered gems in the river valley. Standing here, it feels as if you've traveled back to the distant glacial age, experiencing the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature.

Light Version (Round Trip): Start from Dongzha Village, follow the signs, pass through the waterfalls, and finally reach the core area of the ice mills, then return along the same path. The entire route is about 5 kilometers, taking 3-4 hours. This route has a lower difficulty, suitable for most tourists, especially first-time visitors, allowing them to easily check out the main attractions.
Hardcore Traverse Version: Also starting from Dongzha Village, after passing the waterfalls, continue deeper, pass through a karst cave, and finally reach Guanjiao Hydropower Station, forming an 8-kilometer loop. This route is more challenging, requiring 5-6 hours to complete. Some sections require using both hands and feet, climbing and jumping, and demand a certain level of outdoor experience and physical fitness. It is essential to undertake this route with team support.
