Time stops in the night｜Footsteps remain in the mountains｜Wugawei Mountain

The climb from Liyang begins with a steep ascent, shaded by dense trees and humid air. The challenge begins from the first step. The steep incline demands intense concentration, allowing you to fully experience the rhythm of each section of the trail.

The forest landscape changes midway, with occasional blooms of mountain flowers and a shimmer of light. Spring, tucked away among the branches, brings both surprise and comfort. Upon reaching the summit, the distant mountains are picturesque, the wind brushes past my ears, and it feels as if time has truly stood still.

I thought the journey would end there, but the return journey was grappling with the dark, each step in the dim light of my headlamp testing my courage and resolve. That silent and tense descent has become a most unforgettable chapter.

This mountain is one that demands your whole being to remember. It's not just a view, but a profound experience that will remain with you forever.
