Longtoushan Recreation Area is located in Maolin District, Kaohsiung City. There is a wooden plank road in the park, which is known as the Taiwan version of the Great Wall. It is one of the famous attractions and landmarks in Maolin District. The distance of the wooden plank road is not long. Except for the stairs just before the wooden plank road, which require you to climb up, the stairs of the wooden plank road are actually not particularly difficult. From the Longtou Mountain Trail, you can overlook Wangfu Cliff, Dona Bridge and Dona Suspension Bridge, and enjoy the scenery of Longtou Mountain, Snake Head Mountain and the entire Ring Hill along the way. Follow the wooden plank road straight ahead until you reach the end where you will find the pavilion. Of course, if you have come this far, you will not want to miss the Dona Suspension Bridge, which is a must-see attraction when you come to Longtou Mountain Recreation Area.
